Context
Connect was designed to address the fatigue of traditional professional networking platforms by focusing on quality over quantity.
Problem
Existing professional networking apps prioritize connection counts over meaningful relationships. Young professionals struggle to find relevant connections and end up with cluttered networks.
My contribution
Led end-to-end product design from research to high-fidelity prototypes. Designed onboarding, profile, and matching flows.

Decisions that shaped the work
- 01
Quality-first matching algorithm over viral growth mechanics
- 02
Profile depth over connection count
- 03
Conversation starters over generic connection requests
Process
Ran a Discover → Define → Ideate → Design loop: a survey and interviews with early-career professionals, an affinity map of user types, needs, motivations, and pain points, then flows and a high-fidelity prototype across onboarding, profiles, matching, events, and discovery. Documented the whole path as a public Behance case study.
Evidence
- Quantitative survey of 10 professionals aged 22–35 across industries
- Affinity map of potential users, needs, purposes, motivations, and pain points
- Onboarding, profile, and matching flows
- High-fidelity interactive prototype
- Public Behance case study
Outcomes and impact
- Designed a complete concept experience from onboarding through connection
- Grounded the matching and privacy decisions in the survey and affinity-mapping findings
- Published a public artifact that demonstrates the product-design work

Reflection
I used a survey of ten professionals and an affinity map to plan profiles, matching, and privacy controls. I would need a larger study to test those decisions.
